I also hope you can learn more about the historical and current human rights issues in Guatemala, as well as how accompaniment can serve as a tool for Guatemalan human rights defenders struggling for justice.
What is Accompaniment?Accompaniment is a means of providing a non-violent response to human rights violations. When Guatemalan human rights defenders and survivors of the country's 36-year civil war are threatened, harassed or targeted for violence, accompaniers provide a dissuasive physical presence against rights violations.
